I had so much to do today. Luckily, I am almost done. Marty is off tomorrow, thank god. I am pretty much worthless since we got back. Luckily, we will get a lot done tomorrow.
I did manage to make a menu plan and a partial shopping list for the rest of our time in Michigan.
Strange thing - I called the Comcast rep number the apartment gave us. He needs a money order before he can install anything. I called Comcast directly - they need a money order before they can install anything. Not only that, if I want a DVR box, it is a $100 deposit. I said something like "That is so funny! We didn't have to put a deposit down in Detroit!" and she said something about requiring it for the whole area that her office services, and that "different areas have different track records for unpaid bills." If I lived in the south, I would be pissed. I will be pissed next week.
Not only that, but really. Any of you who have been to Detroit have to be wondering the same thing that I am. Are people in Mississippi really worse at paying their bills that people in Detroit? Doesn't Detroit have one of the highest foreclosure rates? Of course, Mississippi is the poorest state...
Headed to the library. Maybe once my head is clear my posts will start making sense again? As if they ever have.
